6. Sir Richard Hadlee
Over the years, New Zealand has produced many all-rounders, but none better than Sir Richard Hadlee. At his peak, he could run through batting line-ups in a flash or could smack bowlers out of the park with ease. 4875 runs to go with 589 wickets. I guess, we have made our point here.
7. Andrew Flintoff
If there’s anyone who England looked up to carry Botham’s legacy, it was this man from Lancashire. There is no doubt that like Botham, Andrew Flintoff had his share of controversies. But, you have to ignore those when the man gets 400 wickets and 7,4000 international runs.
8. Shakib Al Hasan
The superstar from Bangladesh has carried his national side on his shoulders for the past 12 years. With the ball or with the bat, Shakib Al Hasan has done it all. 11752 runs, 562 wickets and counting. Though his serving a one-year ban currently, it will be interesting to what his tally looks at the end of his career.
9. Lance Klusener
Well, this pick might raise a few eyebrows but Lance Klusener was an absolute treat to watch during his playing days. His stats of 5482 runs and 272 wickets might just not be enough to justify what a huge match-winner he was for South Africa during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
10. Shaun Pollock
7,386 runs and 829 wickets. Phew! that’s enough to justify why Shaun Pollock is a legendary all-rounder. He was fantastic with the new ball scaring opposition but whenever the Proteas batting came under pressure, there was Pollock standing at one end helping his side.
Special Mentions: Ravindra Jadeja, Ben Stokes, Shane Watson, Tony Greig, Keith Miller
