Tollywood film actress Rashmika Mandanna names favourite IPL team and player

Rashmika Mandanna:There is no doubt that the fandom and admiration for Cricketers in India is immense. This highly reputed sport is liked by people across professions and age. Besides the common fandom, even the actresses are seen having close liaison with cricketers. A lot has brewed between the cricketers and actresses in the past and continues to grow even now.
Very recently Tollywood film actress Rashmika Mandanna made the headlines as she blurted out her love for cricket. Following the half-held Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, she revealed her favourite IPL team and player.

Rashmika Mandanna cheers for RCB but admires MS Dhoni
The Tollywood actress told that among the eight IPL franchises, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is her favourite team. She had mixed feelings as she expressed that her love for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is no less.
Unlike the expectations, MS Dhoni topped the list when the actress named her favourite player. In fact, her admiration for Dhoni is so immense that she stated Dhoni as her hero.

“Dhoni batting, captaincy, wicket keeping … that means he will fall and die … he is a master class player. Dhoni is my hero,” said Mandanna in an interaction on social media.
RCB’s and CSK’s spot in IPL 2021
Before the abrupt indefinite suspension of the IPL 2021 on May 4, MS Dhoni-led CSK occupied the second spot while Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side rested at the third place on the points table. Both the teams had won five out of the total of seven matches they played in this edition of the tournament.

With just 29 matches successfully conducted of the 60-match comprehensive tournament, the talks for the conduction of the remainder of the tournament among the officials are still on. As of now, September 2021 is the only possible time window available to conduct the remaining part of IPL 2021.
