Indian National Cricket Team Schedule 2021 officially announced

India Upcoming Matches : After IPL 2021 got suspended due to the rising COVID-19 cases in India, the focus for now will be shifting back to international cricket. Team India have a busy schedule ahead and will be facing off against quality opponents within a few days. The Indian team will first be heading to the United Kingdom for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand. The match is scheduled for June 18-22, and will be hosted at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton.

Other than that, Virat Kohli and his men will be taking on England for a five-match Test series. England were thumped 3-1 in India earlier this year, and will be looking to redeem themselves at home. India could also be taking on South Africa away from home as well as play hosts to New Zealand, but it is yet to be officially confirmed by the BCCI.

The much anticipated T20 World Cup is also set to take place in India during October-November. But with the situation of the pandemic within the nation, there is a possibility for a change in schedule or a change in venue.
With all that being said, Virat Kohli and Co. will be looking to bring in some joy to their nation by getting their hands on the ever so valuable World Test Championship Trophy. The winner of the Test will go in the history books as the first ones to win the tournament.
