The Indian captain Shikhar Dhawan will be available for the 2nd T20I against Sri Lanka. After the news of covid 19 positive case in the Indian team floated throughout the internet, there was a panic created among the public as to what will be the scenario if other players also test positive, but soon all the 8 close contacts of Krunal Pandya were found negative. It has been said that apart from Shikhar Dhawan, all the 7 players will not be a part of the remaining T20I series against Sri Lanka.

After the inclusion of Shikhar Dhawan, the team looks more well balanced and settled to win the 2nd T20I match on Wednesday starting 8 pm. The vice-captain Bhuvneshwar has found his rythm and took 4 wickets in the 1st T20I.
Devdutt Padikkal and Ruturaj Gaikwad, two promising top-order batsmen, will make their India debut in the second T20I against Sri Lanka and India.
Apart among them, Nitish Rana and Chetan Sakariya, who only recently made their ODI debuts, will play in their maiden T20I match.
