SL vs IND: Names of 8 Isolated Players and Availability Details for 2nd T20I

The second T20I between Sri Lanka and India that was scheduled to take place on Tuesday (27th July) was postponed after ace all-rounder Krunal Pandya was tested positive for the COVID-19. The southpaw is set to miss the remaining two T20Is as he will undergo mandatory seven days of isolation.
BCCI then announced the rescheduled dates for the second and the third T20I. The second T20I will now be played on Wednesday (28th July) while the third will take place on Thursday (29th July) at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.
Eight players who were in close contact with Krunal and their availability details
After all-rounder Krunal Pandya tested positive for the coronavirus, BCCI’s medical team identified eight cricketers who came in contact with the all-founder and were advised to stay in isolation.

However, the RT-PCR test of eight players who were in close contact with Krunal Pandya have returned negative results but all these players can’t take the field in the remaining T20Is of the series as part of precautionary measures as per the reports in TOI.
The names of eight players are as follows:
Prithvi Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan Hardik Pandya, Devdutt Padikkal, Krishnappa Gowtham while the names of the rest two close contacts are yet to be confirmed.

After winning the ODI series, Team India started the three-match T20I series on a high note as they completed a comprehensive 38-run victory over hosts at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday (July 25).
