Two Kohlis dominated the Indian squad that won the Under 19 World Cup in 2008. We all know about Virat and his achievements. But there was an unsung hero the 2008 U19 World Cup. Taruwar Kohli wowed everyone by scoring 218 runs in six matches at an average of 43.60 and a top score of 63*. His contributions were crucial in guiding India to victory.
He began playing domestic cricket for Punjab after the World Cup. In the first season of the IPL, he made his IPL debut for the Rajasthan Royals against the Delhi Daredevils. In the four matches he played in the IPL, however, he failed to impress many. He now plays for Mizoram in the Ranji Trophy.
