T20 world cup: Sri Lanka name a strong 15 men squad
Sri Lanka have possibly 2 of the top 5 spinners in world cricket at the moment when it comes to T20Is. Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana are top tier spinners and they will be leading the spin attack for Sri Lanka in the T20 world cup.
T20 world cup 2022 squads of all teams
Sri Lanka moved away from Charith Asalanka who has been awful in T20Is in the opportunities given to him and played Dhananjaya de Silva in the last 2 games in Asia cup 2022 including the final. Dhananjaya de Silva is a quality spinner and proved that in the 2 games in Asia cup. He is most likely to play in the middle order for Sri Lanka splitting Danushka Gunathilaka and Bhanuka Rajapaksa in the batting order. Chamika Karunaratne will be their primary pace bowling all rounder with Wanindu Hasaranga being their primary spin bowling all rounder. Sri Lanka have 3 guys who can bowl in their top 7 which makes them a flexible and a fun T20I side.

Dushmantha Chameera will be available only subject to his fitness and if he isn’t available from the word go, Sri Lanka would have to play Pramod Madhushan who is a downgrade to Dushmantha Chameera. They would be sweating over the fitness of Dushmantha Chameera as he is the fastest bowler in the country who can control his line and length unlike Lahiru Kumara.
