Former England captain Michael Vaughan has termed Team India as the “hot favourites” to win this year’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the UAE due to their superb performance in the two warm-up matches. The Indian team registered comprehensive victories over both England and Australia in their two practice matches ahead of the start of main tournament. India defeated England by chasing down 189 runs with as many as 7 wickets in hand and then went on to emerge victorious against Australia in their second warm-up match.

“The way India are playing the warm up games suggests they may be now Hot favourites to Win the T20 World Cup,” wrote Michael Vaughan on Twitter.
Incidentally, Michael Vaughan has once again taken a big U-Turn from his previous statement where he mentioned England as the favourites for the T20 World Cup and also noted that India will struggle to compete against Pakistan and New Zealand. The former England cricketer also faced the heat on Twitter for not sticking to his comments.
