Steve Smith DC vs KKR: The Delhi Capitals (DC) have lost two close games so far in this 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and they would be disappointed with those results. However, the Rishabh Pant-led team have registered four brilliant wins in 6 games this season and they would be keen to do well on a consistent basis. Delhi Capitals are facing the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the today IPL match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
DC vs KKR IPL Match 25: Steve Smith to make way for Sam Billings?
Steve Smith not getting big scores in the tournament so far and most importantly his slow strike-rate has been a big cause of concern for the Delhi Capitals. Smith has scored 80 runs in 4 matches at a strike-rate of 112.67. The Delhi Capitals team management will be tempted to play Sam Billings in the playing XI for today’s game against KKR in place of Smith. Billings has also done remarkably well for the Chennai Super Kings in the past in the middle-order.

DC vs KKR Today IPL Match Live:
Right-arm pacer Avesh Khan has emerged as a great wicket-taking sensation for the Delhi Capitals this season having picked a total of 12 wickets at an economy of 7.31 and most importantly, he has overshadowed Kagiso Rabada’s poor form with the ball in the tournament so far. Therefore, DC can think of playing either of Chris Woakes or Anrich Nortje in the playing XI for this game against KKR but with Ishant Sharma performing decently well in the first game, he is likely to retain his place. Apart from finishing games with the bat, Rishabh Pant’s captaincy also came under the scanner in the last game on how he rotated his bowlers against RCB.
