Star Sports Releases SENSATIONAL ICC T20 World Cup Promo – WATCH

ICC T20 World Cup Promo: The upcoming edition of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is scheduled to be held from October 17 to November 14 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be hosting the tournament alongwith the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). All the participating teams have already announced their respective squads for the mega event.

The Star Sports Network are the official broadcast partners for this year’s ICC T20 World Cup and they have released a sensational promo for the upcoming tournament. The wonderful and engaging promo has some brilliant visuals from the previous matches of the T20 World Cup and also features cartoons from each of the participating teams. It is expected to be a star-studded mega event which will drive the fans crazy all around the globe.

T20 World Cup Start Date
The Round 1 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 consists of two groups. The likes of Ireland, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Namibia are placed in the Group A. On the other hand, Group B consists of teams like Bangladesh, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and Oman. After the Qualifiers which are set to be held in Oman and UAE together, the Super 12 that is the next stage of the competition also comprises of Group 1 and Group 2.

The Group 1 features the T20 World Cup defending champions, West Indies, alongside England, South Africa, Australia and the two qualifying teams from Round 1. India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Afghanistan and two other qualifying teams consist of the Group 2. The top four teams based on their performances and points during Super 12 stage will qualify for the two semi-finals and thereafter, the finals of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 is scheduled to be held on November 14. The tournament will kickstart with the opening game between Oman and Papua New Guinea at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground on October 17.
