Replaces Sandeep Lamichhane in the squad
Shakib Al Hasan is set to join the Tridents ahead of the clash with St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in Bridgetown on Saturday. He will replace Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane who is due to leave for national duty.
Shakib was replaced by Steve Smith in the last edition of the tournament due to an injury and will be looking to continue his fine form. He scored 606 runs in eight games at an average of 86.57 in the World Cup 2019. In the recently concluded home tri-series against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe, he has made 96 runs in four games along with picking four wickets.
