Sunrisers Hyderabad’s season campaign will begin against the inaugural champions and last year’s runners-up Rajasthan Royals on April 2. The match will be taking place at the home ground of Sunrisers Hyderabad, i.e., the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
SRH vs RR Team News: Skipper Aiden Markram unavailable for first Match
Aiden Markram along with his South African teammates Heinrich Klaasen andMarco Jansen won’t be available for the opening game on April 1. They will be playing an ODI series against the Netherlands during the period with the final ODI slated to take place on April 2. Sunrisers Hyderabad named Aiden Markram as their skipper for this season. Markram led Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the inaugural SA20 earlier this year in January and the South African all-rounder was expected to lead SRH as well. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead SRH in the first match.
The likes of Harry Brook, Adil Rashid, Fazalhaq Farooqui, Glenn Phillips have already joined the squad. West Indies all-rounder Akeal Hosein will be joining the squad soon ahead of the first game.
