SRH vs RR IPL 2021 Live: In a massive update, veteran batsman David Warner has once again been dropped from the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) playing 11 in today’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 match against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The Australian opener was also dropped from the captaincy position and the playing XI in the first leg of the tournament played in India. It will be really important for both Rajasthan and Hyderabad to strike back to winning ways from this game.
Why David Warner is Not Playing Today?
After scoring a more than 500 runs in six consecutive seasons of the IPL, David Warner has struggled to find some kind of form this year. In 8 matches this edition, the left-handed opening batsman has managed to score just 195 runs at a strike-rate of less than 110 that includes a single 50-plus score. Most importantly, one of the biggest reasons for SRH’s horrendous campaign in IPL 2021 has been Warner not providing those efficient starts at the top. Thus, SRH have been forced to bring in Jason Roy in the playing 11 in the place of Warner for this game against RR.

Apart from Warner, the Kane Williamson-led team has made quite a few changes as the likes of Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav and Khaleel Ahmed also miss out. The trio of Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma and Siddarth Kaul have been included in the side.
