The 37th match of the IPL 2021 is taking place between Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sharjah cricket stadium. Both the teams are desperate for the win as they are placed seventh and eighth on the points table respectively. Asked to bat first, Punjab Kings never looked in the game as the batsmen failed to get going and lost their wickets cheaply.

Jagadeesha Suchith takes a stunner to send Deepak Hooda packingĀ 

The KL Rahul-led side were in all sorts of trouble as half of their side was back in the dressing room with less than 100 runs. Amongst all the wickets, the wicket of Deepak Hooda is hogging over the headlines as a piece of brilliant fielding saw him back in the hut for 13 runs.

Though the wicket of Deepak Hooda was taken by Jason Holder but the credit of it goes to Jagadeesha Suchith, who was on the field as a substitute fielder. Holder bowled a slower ball and the batsman tried to hit it over the covers but the brilliance of Suchith saw him getting back in the dressing room. The fielder flew to his left and stuck his hand out to pluck it out of thin air.

SRH vs PBKS Live:Ā Can SRH register their second win of the season?Ā 

Bowling first, Sunrisers Hyderabad came out all guns blazing and tested Punjab Kings batsmen with brilliant bowling skills. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sandeep Sharma created pressure Jason Holder jolted the KL Rahul-led side and took three wickets giving only 19 runs. Aiden Markram tried hard to steady the innings but could only manage 27 runs. A complete bowling performance by the Kane Williamson-led side restricted PBKS for only 125 runs.

Chasing the target, SRH has lost their premier opener David Warner and skipper Kane Williamson for just 2 and 1 run respectively. With more than 100 runs still required the onus now lies on the senior batsman Manish Pandey along with other batsmen to take their team home and register their second win of the season.
