In their last league match of IPL 2022, the Sunrisers Hyderabad will be crossing the swords with the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 22 May, 2022.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad will be without their skipper Kane Williamson in the today IPL match against Punjab Kings as he is unavailable for selection. Williamson has already left for New Zealand to be with his wife, Sarah Raheem, for the birth of their second child. The Kiwi skipper last played the match against Mumbai Indians where he batted lower down the order for the first time in the ongoing T20 tournament.

Sunrisers Hyderabad regular captain Kane Williamson has not contributed much with the bat in this edition of the IPL. The right-hander has notched up only 216 runs from 13 matches at a strike-rate of below 100. In his absence, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is very much likely to be announced as the stand-in Sunrisers Hyderabad captain for the match against Punjab Kings on Sunday.
