SRH Playing 11
Abhishek Sharma was the leading run-scorer for SRH in the IPL 2022. He provided his team with staggering starts and is almost certain to open the innings next year as well. Priyam Garg was given the opportunity in the last few games but cashed it well and it’s likely the right-hander will be given longer rope in IPL 2023.
Rahul Tripathi yet again had a sensational campaign in the IPL and cemented his place in the team at No.3. Skipper Kane Williamson had a miserable season opening the batting. It is expected that he’ll drop himself at No.4 to give youngsters chance at the top.
The duo of Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran were the main architect behind SRH’s little success in the IPL 2022. They stitched many matc-winning partnership and also bailed their team out of trouble. They are likely to bat at No.5 and 6 in the next season.
Abdul Samad was dropped after poor performances in IPL 2022 but having being invested in him, it is likely that the management will back him in the next season. Washington Sundar was in and out of the team due to injuries. However it is expected that the all-rounder will be fully fit by next season and will feature in the eleven.
