Former Indian skipper and the current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly recently confirmed that Team India will play three ODIs and five T20Is against Sri Lanka in July. He explicitly assured of the happening of India’s tour of Sri Lanka, which was otherwise sceptical- known to have an overlap with the remainder of the IPL 2021 that is yet to be scheduled. In fact, Ganguly even reckoned that there are no signs of IPL being hosted any time soon.

In a recent interview with Sportstar magazine, Ganguly said, “India is supposed to go to Sri Lanka for three ODIs and five T20Is. There are lots of organizational hazards like 14-day quarantine. It can’t happen in India. This quarantine is tough to handle. Too early to say how we can find a slot to complete the IPL.”
