ZIM Playing 11: The Zimbabwe team will be up against Sri Lanka team in the 1st ODI match of the series at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. In the last year, they tied their ODI series against Ireland and won against Scotland.

The team will be captained by experienced batter Craig Ervine.
The top order batters can be Regis Chakabva and Wessley Madheveere.
The middle order will consists of all rounders Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, and Ryan Burl.
The 4 bowlers can be Richard Ngarava, Wellington Masakadza, Blessing Muzarabani, and Tendai Chatara.
Brendan Taylor announced is retirement in September 2021, and will not be a part of this series.
