Australia Playing 11 for SL vs AUS: In a big breaking news update, the visiting Australian team have announced their playing 11 for the upcoming first ODI against Sri Lanka scheduled to be played on 14 June, 2022 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. Australia is scheduled to play a five-match ODI series in Sri Lanka that will be followed by 2 Test matches. The Aaron Finch-led side registered a sensational 2-1 T20I series win recently against the Lankan side.

Cricket Australia (CA) have announced their playing XI for the first of the five ODI matches against Sri Lanka. Australia have been hit by a couple of injuries to the fast bowling duo of Mitchell Starc and Kane Richardson. Starc suffered a hand injury during the T20I series while Richardson has flown back home with a serious hamstring injury. On the other hand, right-arm leg spinner Mitchell Swepson continues to warm the bench with Jhye Richardson earning a spot in the Australia playing 11.
Australia’s pace spearhead Pat Cummins returns to the limited-overs side after missing the recently concluded T20I series against Sri Lanka. Marnus Labuschagne also gets a spot in the middle-order while Alex Carey is the wicket-keeper.
