World Test Championship Final
Shubman Gill is currently gearing up to face New Zealand in the all-important World Test Championship (WTC) final scheduled to begin from June 18. The right-handed opener is quarantining in Mumbai with other Test teammates as the Indian Test squad will be taking the flight to UK on June 2. Despite his poor form in the recent few Tests against England at home, Shubman Gill currently seems to be the frontrunner ahead of Mayank Agarwal to open the batting with Rohit Sharma in the WTC final against New Zealand in Southampton. Gill has also been named in the India Test squad for the subsequent five-match Test series against England starting from August 4.
