Shubman Gill Double Century: In a massive breaking news development, Shubman Gill has become the fifth Indian batsman to smash a double hundred in ODI cricket. India’s young and talented opener Shubman Gill has recorded his name in a staggering tally after having scored his maiden double century in the first ODI against New Zealand on Wednesday. While batting first in Hyderabad, the opener smacked a remarkable knock of 208 runs off just 149 balls that included 19 fours and 9 sixes. The most important part of this knock was that Shubman showed exceptional temperament and composure as wickets kept falling at the other end and helped India post a mammoth total of 349 for 8 in their 50 overs. He is the fifth Indian batsman to register a double hundred in ODI cricket after the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan.
