Shaheen Afridi Engagement: Pakistan fast bowler to get engaged to Shahid Afridi’s daughter Aqsa – Report

The former all-rounder Shahid Afridi has always been in the news regarding his on-field performances and off-field comments. Currently, he was playing in the PSL which got postponed indefinitely due to COVID cases coming regularly in different teams. Earlier in the year, he was a part of the T10 tournament as well which took place in UAE.
There have been confirmed reports about the Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi marrying Shahid Afridi’s daughter Aqsa Afridi. The former all-rounder is blessed with five daughters, and Aqsa is the eldest among the five of them.

Details About Shaheen Afridi’s engagementÂ
According to the reports, Shaheen Afridi’s family sent the proposal to Shahid’s family and they accepted it. Both Shaheen and Aqsa’s age is 20. Shaheen’s father Ayaz Khan gave a confirmation to the media personnel about the progress in this matter. The report in GeEO TV also states that the talks have been going for the last 2 years and a formal announcement is soon expected from Shahid Afridi.
Aqsa Afridi will soon complete her education and then the engagement is likely to take place in Karachi. Only close friends are family will attend the event due to the COVID restrictions. The Pakistan players will be on a tour to South Africa in the next month. We wil wait to see when the engagement happens in the future.

Rise of Shaheen Shah AfridiÂ
The tall fast bowler has been brilliant for the Pakistan team as well as in the PSL. His contribution to the national team has been quite fantastic. With the proper accuracy and pace, he has been able to put brakes on the opposition batsmen and take wickets at a crucial juncture of the match.
At the age of 17 in 2018, he made his international debut. He has 48 dismissals in the test, and 45 wickets to his name in ODI’s. In the T20Is as well, he has picked up 25 wickets. In the PSL 5, he was the leading wicket-taker with 17 wickets. In the PSL 6 which was postponed this year, he remained as the second-highest wicket-taker with 9 wickets.
