As the nation is in lock-down plenty of celebrities are taking out the time to interact with their fans on social media. Some have gone on to instagram for a live session with another, whereas, the others have had a simple ‘ask me anything’ round on twitter.
This time it was the ‘Badshah of Bollywood,’ Shah Rukh Khan who came onto twitter to answer a few questions. It is a well known fact that had it not been for the COVID-19 outbreak, the whole of India would have indulged in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Damn I miss the unpredictable and capricious nature of the IPL tournament now!!! https://t.co/8lwOBb36Zm

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise owner, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his misery on twitter on how much he missed travelling to cricketing venues and the ‘unpredictable nature’ of the IPL which makes the tournament a roller coaster of a ride through and through.
The Knight Riders have won the prestigious IPL title on two occasions. The first win came in 2012 versus the mighty Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2012. Meanwhile, the second triumph was to Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in 2014.
In the previous season the KKR unit had a solid start but faltered right towards the end which positioned them 6th in the league. There was plenty of speculation around the franchise about a rift between skipper Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell, however, the two-time champions will be hopeful letting bygones be bygones as they move ahead.
Future of the IPL
The IPL was originally scheduled for March 29, 2020 before it was shifted to April 15 because of the outbreak. But it seems like things will require more time to improve because of which the high profile tournament has been suspended indefinitely. It is being said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as well as the franchise owners are having conference calls about an alternative.
