Disha Patani is a well-known actress of Bollywood who with her debut in the Film Industry in the movie “MS Dhoni-: The Untold Story” has ruled millions of hearts. However, this time it was the other way round for Disha who is clearly bowled over by Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s cricketing skills.
“Bumrah is the finest player we have:” Disha Patani
The 27-year old actress has been recently busy in doing promotions for her upcoming movie “Malang” where she is co-starring with Aditya Roy Kapoor. So, during a recent promotional event, while she was interacting with media, a reporter asked about her favourite cricketer.
In reply, Disha Patani said: “If I had to pick a matchwinning player, it would be Jasprit Bumrah. He is one of the finest players we have.”
The actress herself is quite a fitness enthusiast and she is often seen doing sporty stuff, so we can say that she must have great insight before praising the world-class bowler.
Bumrah’s lost and found line and length
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah who was recently out of the form and gave some below-average performances in IND vs NZ T20I series has found his line and length back in the last two T20Is which even earned him “Man of the Match” award in one match.

With this, Bumrah also became the first bowler in T20I cricket to bowl seven maiden overs. Before him, the title was acquired by Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara, who had a record of bowling six maiden overs or without conceding runs.
Another record was set by Bumrah on Sunday at the Bay Oval when India completed a historic win over New Zealand. India became the first and only team to register a series sweep in a bilateral five-match T20I series.
In the match, Bumrah played a crucial role and took three for 12 from four overs.
