After India’s embarrassing defeat at Lord’s, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar suggested his opinion to the Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar. According to him, the batting coach should give India’s batsmen to use the batting crease more.

ENGLAND LEADING THE SERIES BY 2-0
Meanwhile, the England squad remained undefeated in the second Test match and is leading the series by 2-0. They defeated the Indian team at Lord’s by an innings and 159 runs.
Chris Woakes, who replaced Ben Stokes emerged as the star player of the match. His all-round performance earned him the man of the match award.

WOAKES EMERGED AS THE STAR PLAYER
Woakes took four wickets in total including that of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli in the first innings. He then scored 137 runs for England and remained not out, thus striking his first Test century. Even James Anderson took total of nine wickets in all.

The Indian batsmen again did not perform well, just the same way as in the first test match. They still struggled with England bowlers as they suffered another humiliating defeat. Despite being a bowler, Ravichandran Ashwin was the highest scorer for India in both the innings which indicates the level to which the top-order needs to improve.

The visitors need to sort things out ahead of the third Test in an attempt to save the series.

The third Test between India and England will be played at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham from August 18.
