Sam Curran stops Russel Mania
Kolkata’s top order failed terribly, but the middle order came hard on Chennai’s bowlers, who got hit a lot by Russell, Karthik & Cummins. Andre Russell who was smacking hard tonight got out very cheaply. Dre Russ, who was firing all over the ground, scored a quickfire 54 off just 22 balls. He hit 6’6s and splendid innings with a strike rate of 245. Russell was looking all set to continue with his big hits and take his team, after a complete batting failure at the top. Sam clean bowled Russell with a decent yorker, which he thought to be a wide ball and it completely surprised him, after getting bowled. He misjudged the ball and it was a big celebration for the boys in yellow, to dismiss the big man, who was hitting very hard & long.

What can be the changes expected in CSK squad for next match?
The Chennai Super Kings team batted quite well in this match and posted a total of 220 runs on the board. The batting unit is expected to be the same, but the bowlers received flak from the KKR batsmen. The pace bowler Shardul Thkar can be replaced by the uncapped player. The rest of the line-up is in good form.
