Bavuma ruled out of T20I series: Klaasen to lead the team
The middle-order batsman who captained the Proteas team will not be available for the T20I series against Pakistan due to a hamstring strain. Heinrich Klaasen will be leading the team in the absence of Temba Bavuma. The batting coach Mark Boucher spoke to ESPN Cricinfo about Bavuma’s injury.
“Temba is a tough guy so when you see him hobbling around and it’s only got worse in the change room, the way he is walking, I think he might have done something fairly bad. He seems to be in pain. It doesn’t look good which doesn’t put us in a good position,” ESPNcricinfo quoted Boucher.
