SA vs PAK: South Africa’s possible Playing 11 for 1st ODI

South Africa Playing 11: South Africa and Pakistan will be kicking it off at the SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium for the 1st ODI of the three-match series. It was just over a month ago when the teams clashed in the Test and T20I series in Pakistan. It was Pakistan that registered the win on both occasions as they now look to ensure their dominance in the ODI series. However, The South Africans will have the home advantage this time around, and will be eying redemption. The Proteas do have some exciting prospects up their ranks who are expected to make an impact in the series, and here is what the South Africa playing eleven could shape up as.

Pakistan and South Africa first locked horns this year in late January for the two-match Test series. Pakistan secured a comfortable 2-0 win in that and move on to the T20Is. The three-match T20I series was more closely contested, but it was Pakistan yet again that got the win by 2-1.

Nevertheless, the return of some star players in the South African camp will make them a tough cookie to crack. The hosts do have the depth in quality in their respective squad that could have a pivotal role to play in the series ahead.
