SA vs IND Schedule: In a massive recent update, Cricket South Africa (CSA) have officially announced the updated scheduled for their home series against India comprising of 3 Tests and as many ODIs. India’s tour of South Africa will kickstart with the three-match Test series scheduled to begin from 26 December in Centurion. The first two ODI matches between South Africa and India will be played in Paarl on January 19 and 21 respectively and the final ODI match is scheduled in Cape Town.

There was a lot of confusion and suspense with regarding the venues of the Test matches for India’s tour of South Africa. The opening game of the tour which will be the traditional Boxing Day Test match scheduled to begin from 26 December in Centurion. The second and third India vs South Africa Test matches will be played in Johannesburg and Cape Town starting from 3 January and 11 respectively. The three-match Test series will also be part of the World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle.

India vs South Africa Dates
The South Africa vs India ODI series will start on January 19, 2022 in Paarl and the third ODI will take place in Cape Town. It is also being learnt that all of the three ODIs will not be part of the ICC Men’s World Cup Super League that will decide a direct qualification for the 2023 ODI World Cup scheduled to be played in India. India’s tour of South Africa will be broadcasted live on the Star Sports Network and the HotStar app.

According to the recent media reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is likely to announce the India squad for the South Africa tour on 7 December (Tuesday). It is being reported that the Indian selectors could take the big call of appointing Rohit Sharma as the ODI captain in place of Virat Kohli. Rohit also looks very much certain to replace Ajinkya Rahane as the vice-captain in Test cricket.
