RR vs SRH: Why is Riyan Parag Not Playing Today IPL Match? Check RR Playing XI

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) have not included Riyan Parag in their starting XI for their 11th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) season against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Things did not panned out in an ideal manner for the Rajasthan Royals recently in the ongoing T20 tournament as they had suffered two successive defeats against Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans in their last two matches.

RR vs SRH: Why is Riyan Parag Not Playing Today IPL Match?

During the toss, it was mentioned that Riyan Parag is not included in the starting RR playing 11 for this RR vs SRH match on Sunday. He is still part of the five substitute members list but is not likely to come out as an Impact Player because RR are batting first. It has been a horrible performance so far in IPL 2023 by Parag as he has scored only 58 runs from 6 matches at a disappointing strike-rate of less than 110 after which he has been dropped from the RR playing XI. The Rajasthan Royals team management are instead backing young, talented batsman Dhruv Jurel in the middle-order.

“Decided to bat first. Conditions also demand the same. Climate has been different. Not much dew in the later half. And sometimes it suits us also. We would’ve wanted to play better standard of cricket. We’ve had hard and honest chats. Would like to come back stronger. Few injury issues in the team. Joe Root makes his debut,” said Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson during the toss.

Riyan Parag IPL 2023 Price
