KKR Playing 11: After losing three games in a row, Kolkata Knight Riders will be facing Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai with an aim to get back to winning ways. This has been a tough campaign for KKR so far with plenty of problems to address for them. In 23 matches played between KKR and RR, 12 have gone KKR’s way while Rajasthan has won 10 of them. In the last season, KKR defeated RR in both the fixtures and they will look to carry that momentum forward.
All players in the KKR squad are available for selection but they are likely to continue the same combination that lost to Chennai. Here is how their eleven could be shaped up for this match:
KKR Playing 11 (likely)
N Rana
S Gill
R Tripathi
E Morgan (C)
D Karthik (wk)
A Russell
S Narine
P Cummins
K Nagarkoti
P Krishna
V Chakravarthy
With batting order not performing consistently, there are plenty of problems to address for Knight Riders. Gill’s lack of runs will be a concern for them. The strong middle order has been found vulnerable at times but Russell’s form was a big positive from the last game. Death overs remain a problematic area for KKR in the bowling department as they continue to leak plenty of runs there.
