Rajasthan Royals are hosting the Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur for match number 48 of the Tata IPL 2023 season. After winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals have elected to bat first and made one change to their lineup, while Gujarat Titans have kept the same lineup as before. Having made no changes to their eleven, this means, Sai Sudarshan is not a part of the playing XI.
RR vs GT: Why is Sai Sudharsan Not Playing Today’s IPL 2023 Match?
The Titans have maintained their consistency by keeping the same lineup as their previous game, which unfortunately means that young left-handed batsman Sai Sudarshan from Tamil Nadu has once again been left out. He is among the substitutes for this game which also comprise Shubman Gill. Gill is expected to get a nod ahead of Sudharsan which means the left hander from Tamil Nadu will miss his 5th match on the trot for GT. Check what GT’s skipper Hardik Pandya said at the toss,
“We were going to bat first as well. If the home captain does not know to what to choose, I thought might as well bowl and see what happens. They are a strong, consistent side. We have to be at our best. I don’t think so (smiles, when asked about changes to his side).”
