Pant’s condition stable
According to reports in the media, Rishabh Pant was driving to Roorkee during the early hours of Friday when the accident took place. His car is severely damaged in the accident and was hit on the divider on the road and subsequently caught fire. Pant was first taken to a local hospital – Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre and later was moved to Dehradun.
As per BCCI’s statement, Pant has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back.
BCCI gives an update on Pant’s condition
BCCI’s statement made it clear that Rishabh’s condition is stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.

Pant: India’s super savior in red ball cricket
Known for his aggressive batting approach and power-hitting, Pant was ear-marked as India’s flagbearer in white-ball cricket. However, in recent times, he has emerged as one of India’s most prolific match-winner in Tests.
He played a huge role in India’s famous Test series win in Australia last year. He has often bailed the team out with his counter-attacking batting, and has played several notable innings in England, South Africa and Bangladesh.
