Ricky Ponting has declared Pat Cummins as best fast bowler going around at the moment in world cricket. He said this while answering a question from one of his followers. He tweeted, “I think what Pat Cummins has done over the last 12 months has him clearly the best fast bowler in the world”.

Pat Cummins is in great touch in last 18 months and bowling at his best in International cricket. He was instrumental in Australia retaining the Ashes last year in United Kingdom. He was also the highest wicket taker in international cricket for the year 2019. Kolkata Knight Riders broke the bank in IPL auction to retain his services and in process, Cummins became most expensive overseas buy in IPL history.
