RR Playing 11: Rajasthan Royals will take on a confident looking Royal Challengers Bangalore in Thursday’s royal battle here at Mumbai. With 2 losses in 3 games, the Royals will be eager to bring their campaign back on track. In 23 matches played between these two sides over the years, both have won 10 each. In the last season, Royal Challengers defeated the Royals in both the fixtures which the Royals would be well aware of. Rajasthan will also have the advantage of already having played three games in Mumbai while this will be Bangalore’s first game here.
Liam Livingstone has flown back to England due to bubble fatigue which depletes the Royals’ squad. With Dube not looking in good form, he might be replaced by Delhi batsman Anuj Rawat. Here is how their eleven could be shaped up for this match:
RR Playing 11 (likely)
M Vohra
J Buttler
S Samson (C) (wk)
A Rawat
D Miller
R Parag
R Tewatia
C Morris
J Unadkat
C Sakariya
M Rahman
Royals rely heavily on Samson and Buttler at the top. Buttler is yet to play a significant innings this season while Samson has two low scores after a brilliant century in Royals’ opening match. The middle order needs to show its strength until it gets too late. Sakariya and Unadkat have been in good form with Morris also getting into the groove.
