However, the Royal Challengers Bangalore cannot use Wiley ass an Impact Player because they are already playing four overseas players in Wanindu Hasaranga, Glenn Maxwell, Wayne Parnell and Faf du Plessis. Even after taking two crucial wickets in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Wiley had to make way for Hasaranga in the side as the Sri Lankan spinner ended up taking 26 wickets from 16 games in IPL 2022.

“Would have done the same. Hopefully it will turn in the second innings. This stays a good wicket generally. Will be important for me and Virat to assess the conditions early. It’s difficult to defend in death overs. We have been good at our home ground as a batting unit. You got to pick your best batters and bowlers.
