RCB Playing 11: Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 so far has grabbed the eyeball of many. With just a few games being played till now, the tournament has already witnessed some nail-bitters. Coming to Royal Challengers Banglore, the Faf du Plessis-led side is certainly having a great time in the league. They are placed 6th on the points table with two wins out of their three matches and would be hoping to add more wins in their kitty.
RCB vs MI: RCB Player Availability and Team News for the match against MI
After pounding Rajasthan Royals in the last fixture at Mumbai, Royal Challengers Bangalore are next slated to cross swords with five-time champions Mumbai Indians at MCA stadium in Pune on Saturday (9th April).

RCB played their three matches without their star Australian players. In what will be a massive boost for them, the players from Australia will be available from their next fixture against MI. As per Cricket Australia’s policy, they were not allowed to play in any league during the national team’s engagements.
Glenn Maxwell will be available for the match against MI. On the other hand, Josh Hazlewood is yet to arrive in India while Jason Behrendorff will join the team on Wednesday (6th April). On arrival, he will undergo three days of isolation and is unlikely to play against Mumbai Indians on Saturday.

With the return of Glenn Maxwell, RCB is likely to draft him straight into the playing XI. He’s likely to replace Sherfane Rutherford in the team. The Faf du Plessis-led side is expected to make only one change while the rest of XI is expected to be the same.
