RCB Donation: Royal Challengers Bangalore Parent Company Diageo Pledges INR 45 Crore To India’s COVID-19 Fight

RCB Donation: Another Indian Premier League franchise has come forward to offer help during the time of the Covid-19 crisis in the country. India is enduring a record spike in positive coronavirus cases on a daily basis, thousands of people have lost their lives due to various reasons like lack of oxygen cylinders, putting India’s health department under immense pressure. But on the positive side, prominent personalities and organizations have supplied the government with help. IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore is the latest to come forward with the help.

RCB Owners pledged to donate Rs 45 crores

Royal Challengers Bangalore parent company Diageo has pledged to donate Rs 45 crores “to support India’s government to fight against common enemy COVID-19 pandemic. India is struggling to remain on its feet during the second wave of coronavirus.

BCCI update on Phase-2 of IPL 2021 Venue

Managing Director and CEO of Diageo India & RCB Chairman, Anand Kripalu, released the following statement:

“At a time when the country is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, we want to support the Government’s efforts and stand by the citizens of India. “Long term medical infrastructure especially hospital beds and self-sufficiency in oxygen is what is needed most and we hope our contribution going into every State and UT will help play a part in India’s recovery. With this pledge, Diageo have so far contributed Rs 130 Cr towards Covid Relief.”

Pandya Brothers Extend A Helping Hand

Pandya brothers, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya have offered more oxygen concentrators to COVID-19 centres as India grapples with the Covid-19 pandemic.

Krunal Pandya took to his Instagram account to reveal the extent of the help that a new batch of Oxygen Concentrators will be sent to Covid centres.
