Afghanistan’s spin wizard Rashid Khan had revealed his favorite Indian bowler and batsman against whom he has played. He caught up with cricktracker on Instagram live for a video interview where he revealed many things about his personal life and of course cricket.

In the live session, he revealed the current Indian skipper Virat Kohli and former skippers Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni as his favorite batsman. Well, these world-class batsmen are already the legends of the game which flings no surprises when Rashid Khan came up with these names.

MS Dhoni has not played any form of competitive cricket since the World Cup 2019 semi-final. He was supposed to make a comeback in the IPL, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, the fate of the tournament looms under clouds of doubt.

The fandom of Sachin Tendulkar who retired 7 years back still remains immortal. The little-master who holds the record for most runs in Tests and ODIs still remains a master of the game.

Two pacers and a spinner in Rashid Khan’s list of favorite bowlers

Talking about his favorite bowlers in the Instagram live chat, he picked the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Anil Kumble as his favorites. Anil Kumble is India’s most successful bowlers in Tests and ODIs with most wickets to his name.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah is the current world number one bowler in ODIs. He made his debut in 2016 and since then progressing with giant leaps in his career.

As far as Bhuvneshwar Kumar is concerned, he has been a prime figure along with Jasprit Bumrah in India’s new-ball attack in the limited formats of the game. He also represents Sunrisers Hyderabad alongside Rashid Khan in the IPL and the two really gel well with each other.
