The newest edition of the IPL will have Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata as the venues due to the coronavirus pandemic. Each side will feature in the four venues during the league fixtures. Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will have 10 matches each, whereas, Ahmedabad and Delhi will host eight.
All games will be contested at neutral venues, which dusts aside the home advantage for the teams. The Rajasthan Royals had a forgetful campaign the last time around in the UAE, as they finished right at the bottom of the pile with six wins from the 14 games.
With Steve Smith released from the franchise, it will be wicket keeper batsman Sanju Samson who will be leading the Royals in the upcoming season.
