KL Rahul’s message to the nation
This is not the first time the Karnataka batsman has taken to social media to talk about the Corona Virus. Earlier this week Rahul came up with an encouraging tweet saluting the medical staff of the country. He also urged the readers to be responsible in following the measures put in place by the government. “These are testing times for all and I salute the work being done by our doctors, nurses and medical staff across the country. I urge everyone as responsible citizens to follow the measures put in place by the government. Be safe and alert” were the exact words.
Before the Corona outbreak, the top order batsman was in breathtaking form, smashing the ball to all parts of the ground. He appears to have settled in well in his role as the ‘keeper-batsman of the limited-overs national side. When the IPL commences, fans will also get a first look of KL Rahul the captain, for he shall be taking overs the reins of the Kings XI Punjab, after the franchise transferred R Ashwin to the Delhi Capitals late last year.
