Stunning reflex catch from Rahkeem Cornwall ends Rory Burns’s innings
Hosts England was put in to bat first by Jason Holder after winning the toss. They failed to gain early momentum as the experienced Windies pacer Kemar Roach ran through the English top order dismissing opener Dom Sibley and the star performer of the last match Ben Stokes cheaply. Meanwhile, the other opener Rory Burns grinded his way towards yet another fifty in this series before falling to the bowling of Roston Chase.

The incident happened when Burns edged the ball towards the slips where Rahkeem Cornwall was placed in the 48th over. Cornwall showed great reflex action and was quick to hold on to that ball, thereby finishing a quick catch.
After the fall of early wickets middle-order batsmen Jos Buttler and Ollie Pope stitched a solid partnership that helped England secure an upper hand in the third session. Ollie Pope remained on 91 not out and Buttler remained not out on 56.
Rahkeem Cornwall’s catch remind fans of D.Leverock
Rahkeem Cornwall’s outstanding slip catch to remove Rory Burns was a deja-vu moment for cricket fans as the incident reminded the fans of the 2007 World Cup group stage game between India and Bermuda, where Bermuda captain D.Leverock, who was also almost the size of Cornwall dived to take a catch of Robin Uthappa. Leverock’s iconic celebration is still fresh in the minds of cricket fans.
