December 11th was Kohli-Anushka Sharma’s first wedding anniversary and the occasion became even better as India registered a famous win against Australia in Australia.
The couple celebrated the occasion and were accompanied by opening batsman Prithvi Shaw.
The young opener then posted a picture on photo sharing application Instagram.
Shaw recovering quickly from injury
The right-hand batsman has started his recovery and was seen jogging on the fifth day of the Adelaide Test.
Indian coach Ravi Shastri is happy with Shaw’s recovery. He had stated that with youth on his side there might just be a case where he might recover quicker.
Shastri noted that they will make a call as and when they get closer to Perth.
Shaw had a terrific start to his international career. He won the man of the series award in his debut series against Windies and scored a hundred on his debut innings.
He then smashed a quickfire boundary laden half-century in the practice game against Cricket Australia XI. But in the same game he injured his leg while fielding.
