In their Instagram post, RR captioned the pictures: “Hitched Skidded! Congratulations @skiddyy, and welcome to the Royals fam @rachana_krishna!”

While not much information is available about Rachana Krishna, who maintains a private Instagram account, fans and well-wishers expressed their joy for the couple.

Prasidh Krishna nursing injury, missed entire IPL 2023

On the professional front, Prasidh Krishna missed the entire IPL 2023 season due to a lumbar stress fracture. However, prior to the season, the Rajasthan Royals retained him for Rs 10 crore during the mini-auction, recognizing his outstanding performance with the ball in the IPL 2022 campaign. In that edition, he took 19 wickets in 17 games with an economy rate of 8.29, helping RR reach the final.

As a replacement for Prasidh Krishna, Sandeep Sharma joined the Royals squad for the 2023 season. Unfortunately, Sandeep Sharma struggled to match the expectations, except for one game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where he performed well. Overall, he managed to take 10 wickets in 12 games, with an economy rate of 8.60.

Prasidh Krishna has been out of competitive cricket since India’s ODI tour of Zimbabwe in August 2022, when he sustained the lumbar stress fracture. Despite a brief stint at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), he required surgery after failing to recover in January. The 27-year-old is currently on the path to rehabilitation, aiming to return to full fitness ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup.

During his brief tenure with Team India, Prasidh Krishna made a significant impact in the middle overs with his height, pace, and accuracy. He took 25 wickets in 14 ODIs, including two five-wicket hauls against England and West Indies.

In the IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals narrowly missed out on qualifying for the playoffs, finishing fifth in the points table with 14 points from seven games. They fell short by just two points, and despite the absence of Prasidh Krishna, the team put up a commendable performance.
