Yuvraj Singh responds to Pieterson’s criticism for Pant
ICC World Cup 2019
Kevin Pietersen and Yuvraj Singh were indulged in a Twitter banter after the former criticized Rishabh Pant for his way of batting in ICC World Cup 2019. People expected Rishabh to shoulder some responsibilities after the top order had fallen early in the chase against New Zealand. Things got even worse when Dinesh Karthik departed after scoring 6 runs. India needed a strong partnership and Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant tried to stop wickets from falling for a while. However, Pant lost his wicket to Santner and went back to pavilion after scoring 32 runs off 56 balls.

Kevin Pietersen took to Twitter to express his disappointment over the same and criticized Pant for his lack of maturity in the innings.
How many times have we seen @RishabPant777 do that?????!!!!!
The very reason he wasn’t picked initially!
Pathetic!

Yuvraj Singh came to the rescue of the young man and gave him a befitting reply. Yuvraj Singh said that Pant has only played 8 ODI innings and he would eventually get better with time.
He’s played 8 Odis ! It’s not his fault he will learn and get better it’s not pathetic at all ! However we all are entitled to share our opinions ?

To this, Kevin Pietersen replied that his criticism comes out due to frustration as he has some big hopes from Pant.
My criticism comes out of frustration because of how good he is, mate. He does it sooooo many times! Let’s hope he learns FAST!
