KL Rahul replaces Rishabh Pant  

The term babysitting became eminent in the cricketing world when India toured Australia in the year 2018-2019. The banter between the Australian wicket-keeper and captain Tim Paine and the southpaw Rishabh Pant was an unforgettable one.

In the post, KL Rahul wrote the caption as “Best company”.

Jatin Sapru, the father of the girl KL Rahul posed with, quoted KL Rahul’s tweet and said that it was another role for KL Rahul keeping in mind the various number of roles Rahul donned for the Indian cricket team over the past few series in the limited overs format.

No test spot for KL Rahul

The #2 batsman in T20Is and India’s new designated wicket-keeper and finisher KL Rahul was expected to be a part of test squad after the form he showed with the bat in white ball cricket but the selectors were clear and had clarity in their selection which is a very rare thing as they didn’t mixed the formats this time around.

As a matter of fact, KL Rahul was not named in the Karanataka Ranji trophy squad that will face the Jammu and Kashmir in the quarter final game starting on February 20th.

Rahul is currently enjoying his vacation time and will be getting ready for the South African limited overs series starting on 12th march.
