During the toss, it was revealed that Jason Roy is not part of the starting KKR playing 11 for today’s KKR vs PBKS match. While coming in as the replacement player for KKR midway through the IPL 2023 season, Roy has batted amazingly well so far having scored a total of 180 runs from just 4 matches at a brilliant strike-rate of close to 160 that includes a couple of half-centuries as well. “The wicket looks to be on the drier side. We are going with the same team. We wanted to bat first so that our spinners can come more into play later in the game.
