PBKS vs GT: Why is Yash Dayal Not Playing Today’s IPL 2023 Match?
After what transpired in the last game with Yash Dayal, it was expected that the left-arm seamer would be sidelined from the eleven. The same happened as he got replaced by Mohit Sharma who will be playing an IPL game after 2020. Besides, Yash Dayal’s obvious omission, Gujarat Titans also made a change in the form of Abhinav Manohar who made way for the skipper Hardik Pandya. Hardik missed the last game against KKR as he was unwell. Here’s what Pandya said at the toss,
“Bowling first. Just looks like a good wicket, and from whatever I’ve seen it’s good to chase. Was a one-in-a-million defeat. We are a kind of team that takes it with a smile. Played good cricket until that last over. It happens. It’s a fresh game. We’ll come out and smile, and throw some punches. I don’t know (any changes?). It’s there in the paper.”

Yash Dayal IPL 2023 Salary
Yash Dayal made it to the top 10 list of wicket takers in the Vijay Hazare Trophy during the 2021-22 season. His impressive performance caught the attention of several interested buyers during the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, but eventually, the Gujarat Titans secured him for a substantial amount of INR 3.2 crore. Despite facing tough competition from other bidders, the GT team emerged as the successful buyer of the promising 24-year-old player. The team retained him for the following season at the same price.
