Watch: Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah breaks down during press conference

In the press conference held after the conclusion of the Test series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, young pace sensation, Naseem Shah breaks down in tears while talking about his deceased mother.

Emotions overflowed for Pakistan’s young pace bowler Naseem Shah during the press conference after he was asked to whom he wanted to dedicate his 5-for. Young bowler answered the question but failed to keep his emotions in check as he always wanted to dedicated his 5-for to his recently deceased mother. He always wished that his mother could watch him play for the country but now as his mother is no more present with him, he would like to dedicate the 5-for to his father – the pace bowler further added.

Naseem Shah was attending the press conference after a win over Sri Lanka in the 2nd test of the test series. Naseem Shah went on to clinch 5 wickets in the second innings of the test to become the youngest pace bowler in the history of the test cricket and the second youngest bowler ever behind Nasim-ul- Ghani (Pakistan). Naseem Shah finished the second inning with the figures of 5 wickets in 12.5 overs giving away 31 runs.

What’s Next?

Pakistan Team would be in a celebratory mood after winning the test match and test series. it was the first test series on the Pakistan soil after the 2009 attacks on the Sri Lankan team. Pakistan team would now take a break before start preparing for their next assignment.
