Pakistan dignitary blames India for hampering Bangladesh tour

There is always been the buzz about India and Pakistan relationship across the globe. Whenever political parties get a chance, they drag cricket into it to justify their points.
Blams India for Bangladesh’s tour withdrawal
Pakistan foreign minister has criticized India for their role in preventing Bangladesh Cricket team to tour Pakistan. Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that India has played a critical role in Bangladesh denying to tour Pakistan next month for cricket series. According to him, BCCI and Indian Government have used their powers and suggested Bangladesh to withdraw from Pakistan tour.
Recently, various former Pakistan players also held India responsible for lack of International cricket in Pakistan. Some of them went to say that India is afraid of Pakistan in ongoing World Test Championship. They said if Bangladesh series goes ahead, there is a case of sure-shot 120 points for Pakistan in World Test Championship.
Bangladeshi players not comfortable in touring Pakistan: BCB President
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president has said that Bangladeshi players were not comfortable in playing test matches in Pakistan. They were not willing to stay in the country for that long. Nazmul Hassan said that some of the players have also taken their names off from T20 series just recently. After that, the future of the whole tour has come under the cloud. BCB is stressing on their players’ comfort and security in the first place.
According to Futures Tours and Program (FTP), Bangladesh were scheduled to play 2 test matches and 3 T20s in Pakistan. It was slotted in January and February months of 2020. Complete schedule and venues were not confirmed as the tour is waiting for approval from Bangladesh government. No official declaration has not been made yet on the future of series.
Recently, Sri Lanka toured Pakistan for 2-match test series.
